Any organization holding a safety management system in accordance to CSS2009 or any organization which wants to implement such a system and wants to be certified, should sign in to the Caribbean Health & Safety Foundation as well as the designated certifying body.
According to the certification process, Chapter 11 of the Regulations, RGL CSS2009. The Application Form can be obtained from the Caribbean Health & Safety Foundation or the designated certifying body. The form has to be filled in as completely as possible. Based on the available data on the application form, the Caribbean Health & Safety Foundation and the certifying body can assess the nature and size of the business.
Based on the provided information the applicant receives a proposal which includes the activities and costs in detail. The completed application form is added to the proposal.
Once the Caribbean Health & Safety Foundation and the certifying body received the certification confirmation, the preparations for the assessment of the CSS2009 system is started.
